Good choice of food and drink including local real ales all at prices well below other pubs around here. All drinks seem well kept. Food cooked well and plenty of it. Everyone friendly and helpful. Lots of teams and activities happening including live bands aimed at the 30 plus generations. We had a great time and certainly be back often.

Local old style friendly pub. Food always good, Clean and good value

Thought we'd order takeaway fish and chips as we'd never eaten here since it's take over. Chips were obviously frozen bag chips put in the fryer which were soggy, fish was larger than average but batter was tasteless along with the very boney fish, all in all a very greasy meal. Thought we'd try again with a lunch meal to see if it was much better, sadly not. Cromer crab and prawn salad and sweet chilli chicken baguette and salad. Sour (blue dragon?)chilli sauce, cheap chicken, half filled crab shell and the other half filled with very vinegary seafood sauce over prawns. Salad was also poor - dry cucumber slices, 1 tomato quartered loads of sliced red onion and lettuce. We had the last meal with 4 pints and total came to £26.10 and we weren't even able to choose a dessert as they were for evenings only. No choice of starter either.
