We brought our wedding party here, not only was the food cracking- they catered for veggies and the staff were brilliantly helpful, they even ended up in our wedding photos! They made our day and we come back every year to scoff chips and reminisce. I would wholeheartedly recommend this chippy as the best on the Northumberland coast.

I'm a teacher in the North East and bring a class of plus 40 children to this fish and chip shop every year when we visit Seahouses for a school trip.

The staff are very helpful and friendly they provide a special menu for us and make the lunch really easy and stress free.

The food is great, brilliant value for money good portion sizes and very good food. I always have the fish and chips (fantastic!) and the childrens menu is extensive.

Worth calling and asking about school trips they are very ameniable and will cater for large trips - when speaking to the manageress she even said they had wedding parties in over the summer!

I live in Newcastle and travel to Seahouses for these fish and chips! I normallyt have the fish and chips with mushy peas which is always freashly cooked with crispy batter homemade mushy peas and chips. My wife normally changes what she has everytime because of the choice but its always well cooked fresh food from the summer to winter! its open all year round unlike others in the town which seem to be seasonal its a proper fish and chip shop - can't complain at all good honest fish and chips! Try it and enjoy.

Ps the lady who serves in the sit in bit always cracks on to everyone really friendly staff! Always have time to speak to you.

Well I must admit i'm v.suprised by the comments on this fish and chip shop I live in the North East and this is my favourite Fish and Chip shop. The fish is always cooked fresh with homemade mushy peas and real potato chips peeled and cooked at the restaurant. It's a proper fish and chip shop with good service and very very good fish and chips. The staff have always been friendly and helpful with fast service. it is always busy and i know its the local favourite! if you look in the shop window it is also the 'Hairy Bikers' favorite Fish and Chip shop in the North East they are regulars here with their families!
All in all very good quality food and service! Highly recommend!
