This is the worst fish and chips I have had in this country, very poor value for money!! 4 of us visited this restaurant in May 2009. The fish was very poor quality and small portions, chips enormous portions but dry and brown and not very nice, peas stodgy and unpalatable. As I looked arround the restaurant most of the tables had plates full of food on them that had been left. We complained about the poor quality of food to the ?manager a lady, who made very little comment with no offer of apology, So try one of the other fish and chip shops see if they are any better.

I can honestly say that this is the worst fish and chips that we have ever had. Good Friday 2009. We ordered 2 x jumbo haddock with chips and when it came we each had 2 medium sized fish instead of one jumbo, this didnt matter really but the batter was soggy inside and the oil was dripping out. We had to tilt our plates at one end using upturned saucers, and make space for the oil to drain out. I used 2 serviettes to soak some of the fat away and remove it from the plate. We removed all of the soggy batter and started eating the fish, which in fairness was tasty (why we give 2 stars). Were not picky eaters either of us but then we got mouthful after mouthful of bones and ended up leaving half of the meal which cost over £8 each. The place had a fast food feel to it and the staff werent friendly at all. There are other fish and chip shops nearby, so please try one of those instead, we wished we had. You live and you learn.
