My husband and I had been recommended to go to this pub several times by family and friends, and decided to book in for Sunday lunch. From the beautiful decor and warm welcoming fire to the outstanding food and friendly staff it certainly lived up to it's good name. Well done, The Railway Inn.

Delightful caravan site & pub.

Booked at the last minute and we arrived at the site late but found the owners to be very helpful and friendly. The owners also run the pub next door is a real bonus, it looks like its recently been refurbished and we had a lovely meal.

GREAT STAYOVER AND MEAL

Just had a lovely night stay at The Railway, with hospitable owners, great facilities and lovely cosy pub. They have had a new electric supply put in so now providing 10 amps. We also sampled the great food on offer, all fresh and local produce. Highly recommend it!

Lunchtime Meal

Took my family for my Birthday lunch and the meal was excellent. All fresh ingredients, freshly cooked and a good glutin free option.

we stayed on their caravan site. The warm welcome was "you will pay up-front?The electric supple was poor, would not boil a kettle.Not friendly or even courteous. Not interested in listening to complaints. A truly dreadful experience. We won't go there again and we've told Everyone
with a caravan that might go to Northumberland
