We called at the Tennants Arms at Kilnsey last Thursday to have a meal. I have to say it was the best meal I have had in a long time. My daughter and I had the 3 cheese Pie, it was a large wedge of pie and when it arrived, we looked at each other and in one voice said "we'll never eat all that!" The pie was so light and the pastry just melted inn the mouth. Needless to say we didn't leave any. The whole meal was heaven, served by a friendly waitress, we sat in the garden at the side of the Hotel where we could see the dry stone walls at the other side of the valley and the Crag at the side of the pub. The sun was shining, everyone in the Pub was friendly and the Ladies room was spectacular, it even had a fountain!! We will definately be going again, wish it was our local!!
