Cobbles has just recently been taken over but hs kept on some of the existing staff. It is bright clean and airy and just the kind of place you don't feel out of place on your own. The staff are very friendly, the service very good and the menu is extensive for a place this size.
The food is home made or seems to be and is of a very good standard, mainly traditional but with a few more adventurous dishes thrown in. You can have a glass of wine or beer with your meal if you want to and there are various teas and coffees also. The place is usually filled with local characters. There is also a very good dessert menu.
