Seacroft Guest House

The first thing that hits you when you walk in is the smell of damp, and for good reason - just see the bathroom (mould and dirt). The whole house smells of it, and even the tatty old faded bedding smelt of it. The rooms look like they haven't been decorated since the 70s - painted woodchip on walls, polystyrene ceiling tiles, thick nets and dirty velour curtains. The furniture looks like it came from a second hand shop and dirty, I wouldn't unpack, lived out of suitcase. At the time I stayed here all other clientelle were foreign workers who were up shouting and banging about early until they left for work. I get the feeling this establishment is tailored to this client base NOT holiday visitors. The only thing that earned it a 1/10 was the breakfast which was ok.
