Kings Oak

I attended the Kings Oak in three different capacities over the weekend so feel reasonably qualified to review.
On Sunday attended a family function which was superbly catered by a young and extremely enthusiastic staff. The service was first rate, the food was excellent and the ambience absolutely stunning. Would strongly recommend anyone thinking of holding a family function to consider this venue.

Arrived early at the Oak for a meal so spent an hour or so in the pub area which was very atmospheric and had some excellent beers and a really good atmosphere.

We then went to the restaurant for an absolutely top quality meal at very reasonable prices. Several of the staff who had worked at the function on the Sunday were in attendance and again they did a sterling job at incredibly reasonable prices.

I would really recommend giving this venue a go in whichever capacity you wish.

You have go to to the Kings Oak in High Beach. Its been taken over by new Owners in 2009 and they have refurbished the place really well. They have a new private members beach club, dining room and gastropub and gardens and the food is really good. I went there last week and its amazing.

I just wanted to let you know that my family thoroughly enjoyed the BBQ/Hog Roast last weekend. It was delicious and the Chef who served it was very friendly and socialable and we really recommend it to families wanting to relax, have a great time and BBQ lunch and also let the kids play in the Forest Garden with adventure playground/bouncy castle. Highly Recommended.
