Under new management

As of the 06/09/10 The Butchers Arms is under new management with the new Landlady Vicky Berry.
My wife and I have eaten here on numerous occasions and have found the food to be excellent and the service impeccable.
The spacious bar and candle lit dinning area added to the sense of romance and intimacy and the friendly welcoming staff made us feel at home.

New management and refurb

Me, my husband and 2 kids visited the Butchers arms as they are now serving meals. The food and service was lovely, we did expect some teething problems but found no problems at all. We were also impressed with the refurbishment as she has not taken away any of the character and it looks great. On chating to Vicky the land lady, she appears very dedicated to ensuring this is a great pub for everyone, as she's just taken it over and wants it to be a success. Will definatly visit again, hopefully without the kids this time!!!!

Rude!!

The owner and staff here are very rude and like to judge people by their cover and i wouldnt recommend this to people who want to go for a quite meal or a drink or two.
