SWEARING
1 / 10
The Unity is ok as a club - offering its facilities to its members in full. However it has two major problems

1) Parking - some members just become members to use the car park for free parking and never even go into the club, thus making it difficult to park at times.

2) Swearing - some members, including some who are on the committee, insist on swearing constantly (and loudly) thus making an unpleasant atmosphere.

Brilliant for members

Obviously you need to be a member to make the most of this facility. As a club it offers all the usual facilities, including possibly the best function room you could hire in Street. The staff and the management committee strive to keep this club as a safe haven for its members, and it is a welcoming place. Opens till midnight Fri/Sat.

It is a members only club though guests are admitted with a member (small fee). SKY TV on a big screen, skittle alley, darts, pool and snooker, fruit machines and juke box (ugh). Good range of drinks including two or three guest ales. Popular meeting place especially for groups heading later for the nearly next door night club, Envy. Car park for members and out door smoking shelter. Friendly steward and bar staff serving very reasonably priced drinks. Recently thoroughly refurbished. Can't fault it for what it is but don't expect any food.
