Great Crackling
  10 / 10
Sorry forgot the star rating Went for Sunday lunch (24th Oct 2010) We were staying at Briarfields just down the road. Just as well we had booked as they were full and we would otherwise had been disappointed, especially as we were so well looked after by John the owner. The roast pork loin was excellent and he even gave us extra crackling when we asked for it. Drank the Tribute which happens to be one of my favourites and it was spot on. We will definately visit the next time we are in Cheltenham. D & B from Cornwall.

Good Food, Good service and Tribute Ale!
  8 / 10
We stayed in a campsite (Briarfields) about 1/2 mile from The Pheasant and tried this pub for somewhere to eat. We were impressed with the food and thought the prices reasonable. Thoroughly enjoyed the cornish Tribute ale and we were impressed enough to visit a second time, a few days later. The service was good and we would recommend a visit. It has new owners Jill & John, who took over in August 2010.

Ok if you have a taste for insects
We went her during August for a family celebration Sunday lunch. Was really nice until..my daughter found aSPIDER.cooked on top of her meat. She had taken a mouthful before she realised! She spent the rest of the day feeling sick!
