We were firstly greeted as if we were interupting the bar staffs chat, they were not at all friendy or welcoming and had to force a smile while brining over our food, very very poor customer service!! The food is ok but i think for the price there is better elsewhere in the area.

This Pub has the worst food possible all burnt and full of under age drinkers. The last time me and my family went to go to this pub it was been used as a boy racer location with the managers consent. MY ADVICE IS DO NOT USE THIS PUB!!! I wouldnt even give this pub a 1/10

This used to be a fairly nice place to eat but the last few times we have been so disappointed. We keep giving it another chance because it is cheap and local but no more. Today we were served charcoaled chicken, it was embaressingly burnt and we couldn't believe they actually thought we would eat it. The meals were returned and fresh ones promised. Instead they just returned the same food with one piece cooked again and still burnt. The chef was a big man and we didn't feel we could complain again so we just left, it ruined what had been a lovely saturday afternoon. Beware others, if you want a lovely meal, don't risk the rose and crown. We wouldn't want anyone else to have their day ruined. Cheapness shouldn't affect quality.
