Atrocious is not the word to describe it
  1 / 10
We have been there yesterday for our tea. Although it was only 6:30 at night, the place was practically empty, except for few members of staff who were standing behind the bar looking overly bored.

There are only a few items on the menu and together with the fact that a couple of them were off, that did not leave us with much choice whatsoever. Food was clearly microwaved as opposed to cooked from fresh and plainly disgusting.

I would never come back there and would never ever recommend this to anyone.

Much better
  10 / 10
We had a function in the Parkway Function room 2 weekend ago, and it was much better than it was over 2 years ago. The room looks much better, the new seats make all the difference.

The service at the bar was much faster as well. The parkway is definately improved since the Mains of Scotstown owners took over....

Let me have your recipe for stovies, mines never taste like that!

Wonderfull

We had our wedding at the Parkway and I am pleased to say that it far exceeded the usual packaged weddings that the large hotels dish out every weekend and sometimes 2 or 3 in a day!

The food was second to none the chef should be proud and the rooms looked so professional and well dressed.

As for the service, well all I can say is that Martin the owner is fantastic at what he does the day was well run and organised to the enth.

Sunday carvery is the best!
  7 / 10
Went on Sunday 23rd Aug 2009 at 3pm and the restaurant was busy.

The one thing I noticed when I went in and sat down was how clean the whole place was! I look for these things.

The smell was amazing and it tasted even better, oh god! The yorkies and the beef was unbeatable.. I think the yorkies were even homemade, but I think everything was, unlike some of the other carvery places serving cheap rubbish for under a fiver!

There was a kids menu for 99p and the drinks were reasonable al in all for 3 adults and 2 kids for soup, carvery, desert and drinks each it came to £37.00.
