The Nags Head

We can't praise this pub highly enough, never had a bad meal, the staff are always helpful & do all they can to make your visit a pleasant one
Recently we asked Sharon if we could meet up with a few friends on a Saturday afternoon, we had no idea how many would turn up,
er: I think it was about 80, we hadn't planned for that I think Sharon was a bit surprised as well
But it went down a storm, everyone had a great time & praised the venue, the food and the guiness, LOL
If you haven't been before, give it a try, we keep going back and we are pretty choosy where we go for a meal

Family friendly pub, with great food and the service to match. A warm welcome is always given and the atmosphere of a proper village pub is something rarely found these days.

I would say this place is the tops when it comes to food and hospitality.My family and i use the nags at least once a month.We have always enjoyed our meals . Best carvery around.

This pub has a very good menu to choose from, the Sunday carvery is just like mum used to make, good selection of veg, and the meat is cooked just right.Staff are very helpfull as is the manager and his wife, i phoned up to book and was given a time of 2--30 on a sunday, when we arrived and got chatting, we found out that they closed at 1--30 but had kept the carvery open just for us, We both enjoyed our meal and pudding, we would certainly go back again.
