Fantastic service and excellent food.
  10 / 10
We recently held our daughter's 18th birthday party at the Nags Head and the buffet was fantastic. We had a marquee in the play area and everyone had a fantastic time.
I recently had my hen night at the Nags Head. There were 18 of us all wanting curry and rice with Nan Bread and poppadoms which were made from fresh. Laura did a fantastic job and made us some brilliant homemade poppadoms with different chutneys. The service from Caroline and Laura was excellent and Adi made us all feel welcome. A very relaxed atmosphere and fantastic food. They even let us re-arrange the tables in the restaurant so that we were all sat together.

Sunday Carvery
  10 / 10
We have been eating the Sunday Carvery every fortnight for the past 18 months. We have never had frozen vegetables or overcooked meat, we have eaten Sunday lunch at a great many pubs in the area and the ' Nags Head ' is the best by far.
The staff are so obliging and friendly and go out of their way to serve you as quickly as possible. It is a lovely place with a very relaxed atmosphere. Please don't let one negative comment put you off or you will be missing out on a great meal. I don't eat my lunch in the toilets so not too sure that it needs decorating, it seems fine to me, it's a village pub not the Ritz Hotel. Well done to everyone at the 'Nags', we will be there on Sunday.

Sunday carvery
  6 / 10
Meal was made up of mainly frozen potatoes/vegetables. Meat was overcooked. Poor service. There was no organisation with the tables going to get their food. More like a free for all especially with the regulars. Toilets in desperate need of redecorating.

Our favourite local pub
  10 / 10
We can't praise this pub highly enough, never had a bad meal, the staff are always helpful & do all they can to make your visit a pleasant one
Recently we asked Sharon if we could meet up with a few friends on a Saturday afternoon, we had no idea how many would turn up,
er: I think it was about 80, we hadn't planned for that I think Sharon was a bit surprised as well
But it went down a storm, everyone had a great time & praised the venue, the food and the guiness, LOL
If you haven't been before, give it a try, we keep going back and we are pretty choosy where we go for a meal
