New Real Ale Bar

Since the last review Terry has added a new (or should that be old?) bar. The 16thC stables next to the pub have been converted into a dedicated real ale bar. Open from 4pm on Fridays and all day Saturday and Sunday this cosy little bar just does real ales, ciders and perry. A proper little bar warmed by a proper little pot bellied stove.

excellent small country pub. 3 large screen tv's - one outside in covered smoking area - small grassed garden area at side of car park.
food served at weekends. Opens every day at 4pm till late. except at weekends 2pm saturday opening. sunday 12 noon opening. The Red Lion has its own skittels team.
Inside there is a juke box and pool table.
All drinks tend to be priced at Â£2.50 per pint for beers and wines (small)
