A pub with a campsite within the grounds!

If you want to get away from it all, make sure you visit this pub / campsite that accepts between five and seven caravans or motorhomes at the daily rate of £10.

Although the campsite has minimal facilities, the pub gives you everything that you need – real ale, good grub, a quiz night, roaring open fires and a warm, friendly welcome from Landlord, Terry.

Lovely Weekend

Stayed here recently at the Campsite, which we found excellent value at ?10 per night. We were told that the pub had recently been taken over by the new landlord and although not serving food just yet, the atmosphere and welcome we received was great. He was able to pass on his new found knowledge of the local area which was much appreciated and my husband particularly enjoyed the choice of real ales The Canal Inn had on offer.

Will definitely return and looking forward to having food!

This is a small welcoming & friendly inn,with friendly staff,reasonable sized meals & not over priced ,good well kept beer and once again not over priced.recommend you book before you turn up.I and my wife have been several times.
