The Red Cow

Erm i think the fact its a bar gives it away. Not a food pub! Obviously somebody who harbours a grudge. What's wrong ? too much lime in your soda?

Situated in the old village part of Allestree, you are hoping to enjoy a traditional welcoming local pub when you go into the Red Cow.
What you actually get is a scruffy pub, with patrons to match. The landlord, recognisable by his greasy unkempt looks doubles up as the microwave chef and with as much personality a roadside corpse, he seemlessly moves between kitchen, bar and smoking section outside the back door. The food is cheap and nasty and unless cost is the determining factor I would stay well away. I live round the corner and have foolishly returned on more than one occassion through convenience and been equally dissapointed each time.
