Food
  2 / 10
Found the food very disappointing. Two of our party had the turkey Sunday roast meal which consisted of what seemed like processed turkey, soggy red cabbage, mashed watery carrots/swede, a piece of stuffing the size of a £2 coin, 2 small florets of brocolli and 2 roast potatoes. While there was plenty of food it wasn't really very nice. Two of our party had the steak and ale pie and said it tasted like tinned steak and at an average of £11 per head I would expect a better quality of food. Not the standard it used to be with the previous owners and certainly will not go there again. As there was only our party and another couple eating and about 6 people having a drink, I think that speaks for itself.
