Top Gun Fish Bar

Waited almost an hour last Friday for cod and chips & 20 minutes for a pie today.
Nobody seems to be in any hurry in Top Gun even though the punters are queuing out the door!
Pull your finger out, life is short!!!

*Some of the worst curry sauce I have ever had. I think it should be called "Curry Powder Sauce".
* Small helpings.
* Expensive. Better to spend £3.69 on a carvery at the Hollybush instead.

I've just arrived home with cheeseburger & chips. The chips I was going to share with my grandson, but there were hardly enough to feed him let alone the two of us. The portions of chips are now dire whereas not so long ago one portion was easily generous enough to feed two. I paid just short of £3 for this 'meal' and am very disappointed and sad as the food here is usually tasty, however I will not be returning. I did try to contact the shop by the phone number given but sadly, no answer, so goodbye top gun, we will miss you.

chips are usallly very good from top gun but for £1.20 you expect it to fill your plate at home. didnt even do this. they have been getting less and less generous with their portions over the years.
The chips are usually the best tasting in cardiff in my view but lately they have been undercooked and give out a few black chips now and again.
Given the current credit crunch I will no longer visit this place. They dont sell large portion of chips anymore so a filling portion would set you back £2.40
