Really nice pub overlooking the rather small village green at Greystoke. Good accommodation, good beer and good food - best of all a real warm welcome. This made an ideal overnight stop during our C2C crossing (Irish to North Sea) No bike lock up but they were fine locked up at the back of the pub.

This pub is being run by two people who have never done this before and it shows. The owners are very seldom in the place and when they are they never actually do any work. The food is of very poor quality and no matter what you order it is covered in herbs. The atmosphere is very tense and not in the least pleasant. Avoid it like the plague.
