Excellent Riding Centre would recommend
  9 / 10
We don't own our own pony but my daughter, now 10, has been riding at Croft Riding Centre for around 3 years. Although she had previously ridden at other riding centres I think I can safely say that Croft has brought her on leaps and bounds, to the stage that she can confidently gallop around an open field and jump small Cross Country fences. Have ridden myself for a number of years and occasionally at Croft I have the upmost respect for the instructors and other staff at Croft. Croft has a good selection of Horse and Ponies as well as various instructors all of which have different attributes. Whilst my daughter has been riding at Croft she has been taught by a number of different instructors, who we have swapped between, depending on her needs. She originally started off with Group Lessons to get more saddle time, but has since moved onto Private Lessons for more one to one instruction. Since being at Croft she has progressed from a sedate easy going walk, trot to an exhilarating gallops and jumps. When she expressed an interest in equitation, the instructors helped her refine her skills, position and riding. In addition to that she has also done a number of Junior courses that have taught her about ponies and equitation and she has started to compete at the riding shows held at the centre and been good enough be placed above much older children. The staff have always been helpful and courteous, even on days when it's been pouring down with rain and I wished I was somewhere else, unlike my daughter who'd still be grinning. My only criticism of them would be that because it's a popular riding centre that on Saturdays it can get rather busy at times with group lessons. That said I still think it's a fantastic riding school and would recommend it to anyone whether they are just starting off or more experienced.

i didnt like it!
i have a number of problem with this place.
1. they do not keep the horse for very long but just work them till they are not able to work or get old.
2. i dont understand why the school is across the road from the stables it is just a safety risk.
3. they have too many lessons on at 1 time
4. they dnt even know the horses names and just call them " that one"
5. the staff are unfriendly
6. they are just there to make money and dont care about the horses
