Came across The Wicked Lady by chance on a sat eve (1st may 2010) restaurant fully booked but we could sit in bar and eat from the same menu.The food was brilliant, decor lovely, ambiance perfect and the service great. All staff very attentive we will definitely be visiting again even though it is a long way from where we live. I have given 10/10 as couldn't really fault anything and I am quite hard to please!

We looked forward to visiting a pub well-known to it's locals and one we'd visited many times before over the years, but were so disappointed to find it's been made 'minimalistic' in decor and nouveau cuisine instead of good, honest home-cooked food ! It really was a put off, especially with a young family. The decor is totally wrong for the converted barn/stables and uninviting to say the least. This was once a warm and inviting pub with good food, but has been transformed into anything but. The food was OK, service good, what will be interesting is whether it will stand the test of time - that I do doubt.
