Cottage Farm Campsite
  8 / 10
2nd year running at the site its good now there is an electric hook up on the tent site hope there will be more erected we were on the caravan area last year and there was parties and fighting going on but stopped quickly the only thing i was mad about this year was that a foreign cpl cam with a 2 bith tent and pitched it between two already erected tents where there was loads of room on the site they should of erected their tent else where so the occupants of the other tents didnt hav room even to get out of their tent other wise a good site will hopefully be going again in October during the School break

Good site
Belinerbeer, the fire was in a separate part of the site from the racers. You're entitled to your gripe, but at least state facts rather than assumptions. As regards fuel can etc, as racers we're required to carry fire extinguishers and be responsible for the safety and security of our fuel and equipment. As you were with racing people yourself, surely you'd be aware of this. As regards the noise, I can only assume you've never frequented a pub or indeed a town centre so it may surprise you that people 'enjoy themselves' until 1.30 am occasionally. Heaven forbid.

COTTAGE FARM /BEST CAMPING SITE BY FAR.
My family have been caravaning & camping on cottage farm for many years, firstly my mum&dad ,who have sadly departed this world, they spent many long weekends and after they retired ,they was there all season with there two yorkies.
Then i was camping with my mates for afew year, then i started taking my own family many years have passed since but my wife and myself are still camping under the stars.Cottage farm is ok. theres nothing wrong with the site, its the few bad caravaners/campers that spoil it for other people.thoughs who let there kids run wild in the toilets /showers.making a mess, smoking & being rude to people.Thats why people who go in the club &leave there kids to entertain themselves outside, are fround on.

best camp in the area.
I have worked as the entertainer on this camp for 13 years originally as am organist - entertainer and then as times change changing to Karaoke, The atmosphere is really brilliant. the bar staff always give a warm welcome to both regulars and visitors. The food is of unbeatable quality and value and the owners, the Simpson family go out of their way to help anybody. They could not be better hosts and could not be better employers. In my opinion this camp exceeds requirements. Yes we do have the odd rare incident but the night of the fire the racers and campers were sepperated so there was no risk of the car fuel going up. more risk of a gas bottle but that was controlled. the party! well the bar is open while midnigh, so usually 12-30before it is cleared and probably 1 am before the staff get away so there was plenty of time to inform the management of any problems AND it was bank holiday weekend. As for the rubbish. Many of the campers do not seem to realise that they can move to the next bin when the first is empty. there are approx 12 big wheeley bins, plus the cardboard only bins, and on the tent field were 2 big trailers for the campers to deposit their rubbish in without going anywhere near the compound. All in all. this camp has everything. The residents are like one big family and always try to welcome the holiday makers. Sorry weve just closed. roll on March. YOU WONT FIND BETTER. believe me, Mike Kay. Leeds.
