Braddicks Holiday Centre

I stayed in one of the pet friendly chalets at this holiday park in August 2009 and it was absolutely disguting. It smelled awful inside and was filthy, when I rubbed my finger across the top of the toilet my finger turned BLACK with dirt! When I asked if we could be moved I was told all of the other pet friendly accomodation was full and pets were not allowed in any of the other chalets or caravans. They did not offer to re clean the chalet and refused a refund. I had to go to a local supermarket and buy cleaning products myself and personally scrub the chalet from top to bottom. Me, my partner and child were all bitten by bed bugs as we slept, my two dogs both got fleas and ticks! I understand that opting to take your pets on holiday does incure this sort of risk and would expect the accomodation to be less than what you would recieve if you went to a non pet friendly place, however, there is no excuse for this sort of filthiness and would still expect the accomodation to be clean at least! I would definately not reccomend this holiday park to anyone, it was by far the worst holiday I have ever had and I could not wait to get home!
