A Taste Of Magic

Scarborough's top Queen themed bistro, coffee lounge and Gourmet sandwich bar has certainly established itself since it opened in 2005. June Tinker is the main partner in the business and has strived to maintain high standards especially during a time of rising costs. "I try to give everyone what they want, except for chips!" says June. She has wide catering experience as a manager with Chiltern Inns, a major southern restaurant and pub chain. "We only use branded products such as Lurpak, Heinz and Yorksire tea". The menu includes fresh made bread pudding, daily specials, daily homemade soup and an immense breakfast menu including delights such as New York deli platter and a big Belguim breakfast. Virtually everything is locally purchased in Yorkshire, including the Colombian and Kenyan coffee beans that are roasted in Huddersfield by Coopers. "Our bread is freshly baked every day in Scarborough" says June who is firm about quality, "and we won't drop our standards for anyone", she says.
