Not impressed
3 / 10
Seating was very uncomfortable, sit up and beg, ended up with a bad back. Starters ok and my friends meals were acceptable, but don't have the Lasagne. I've been eating it for the past 30 years and that was the worse one I have ever had, bone dry no sauce they managed to scrape a thin layer of cheese on the top then grilled it to a crust, it arrived in a long dish, total unsuitable. A long time before we go again.

Ludicrously slow service - stroppy staff
1 / 10
Don't bother - food was average (if you enjoy thrash boiled vegetables), but the service was dreadful. It took almost two hours from when our table was booked, to getting our main courses. It was a lunchtime, and they weren't that busy! After paying the bill, I pointed this out but the waitress/barmaid became quite defensive telling me I was wrong! This was not my first visit, but it will definitely be my last!

avoid like the plague
avoid on a weekend unless paying 17.95 for certain main meals appeals to you!!! service is pedestrian(they want you to spend your hard earned over the bar!) pricey too. rolls were brought for the starter "covered in mould" absolutely unforgiveable, did not want to eat main course and completely ruined what should have been a special occasion.makes me wonder what goes on behind those kitchen doors,i for one will not be making a return visit

excellent 10/10
really good food and made to feel special by staff who are very friendly and not at all pushy.Attention to detail is given to everything-saw on job staff training whilst we were there-only on how to polish glasses but, in many pubs just taken out of dishwasher and thats it.Get there before 6pm and take advantage of 3 course special for under £7 or can get a little pricey after that.A lovely place to eat-can well recommend.10/10
