VERY POOR

booking for 3 pm sunday afternoon. After 20 mins we had to ask if we could order because nobody had been to take our order. The soup was tasteless but hot. Roast beef was tough. The veg was underdone. Dirty knife on table. Holes in the napkins. On the whole the meal was very poor and service was worse and has a bonus water was Â£1.70 a glass and lager Â£3.40. Will not be returning

i went to the red lion on friday there was 4 of us the place is warmley and the staff very friendley the food is excerlent we had a loveley evening will be going back for sure wish there were more english restaurants like this one to many italians,curry shops and chinese if you want english cooked food this is the place

i went for a meal with my wife for our anniversary not been for a long time it was a lovely meal, freindly staff, good choice of food tasted great.

had my mums 50th birthday meal last night.staff went out there way to be helpfull.food came out hot.and was very tastey,Good homemade food.would go again x

would NOT recommend!!!!

staff are absolutly useless, how hard is it to take an order... really!? slow service even when not busy, rude and stuck up!
food is awfull, cold and either undercooked or overcooked! no doubt frozen microwaved stuff which is far too overpriced!
im am amazed how people would go back to that place... gordan ramsey would have a field day there! definatley not goin again!
