AWFUL
This used to be a great local pub with character. The renovations have destroyed the atmosphere and the service and food has made this a place to avoid. Our food was disgraceful, (my fish was not cooked) and my partners's chicken waas a tough bit of leg and the rice was hard. The service was 'casual'and it is the first time ever that I have not given a tip.
One place to certainly give a MISS. The Spitfire pilots who used this pub during the war would cry to see what has happened.

So very sad to see a local pub destroyd.

New Years Eve Lunch
  10 / 10
Visited the White Hart at Brasted today, this is our second visit. We meet friends from Deal in Kent, this venue makes a good halfway point to meet as we live in Reading Berks.

fantastic visit again. Excellent service , friendly , helpful. One of our friends has to use a wheelchair and once inside the pub , a quiet corner was found for us , we were 5 in number today. Food again excellent, with a varied menu by price, so you could eat at very fair prices and also enjoy the chef's specials for a little more money.

We had coffee before eating as we had travelled and then Wine with lunch , main course sweets and more coffee £20 per head including a good tip for the excellent service. Excellent choice of wines and the House Red Australian Shiraz at £9.50 excellent.

Recommend this venue anytime, pub also has a lot of WW2 history as it was frequented by the fighter pilots from Biggin Hill and they have at the moment a small display dedicated to the Stanford Tuck memorial.

Please do not let this venue fall into the hands of the cheap and cheerful carvery chains.

10 out of 10 .
