The White Hart Hotel is a former Coaching Inn dating back to the 17th century. It is reputed that during the rebellion of 1745, it served as the headquarters for supporters of Bonnie Prince Charlie and their leader, Sir William Bagott who was arrested at the White Hart, having enjoyed an excellent dinner!
The hotel underwent a full refurbishment in June 2005 and, in addition to its 21 en-suite rooms, features a 50 cover restaurant where you can enjoy two-for-one deals. The restaurant can also be booked for private functions.
The hotel is just 8 miles from Alton Towers, 5 minutes from Uttoxeter race course and ideally situated for fishing, riding and other rural events, including one of the oldest and largest open air markets in England.
