Dulais Rock Inn

Worst place we have had food ever (and it is after it has only opened, we had dinner last week, Easter weekend 2009). The "Chef's recipe for soup" was a tin of tomatos mixed with dry oregano and microwaved. Dirty tables, sticky menus and empty fridges in the dining room (where even old beach Spanish eateries keep wines and desserts) were empty. The aubergine bake and steak and ale pie tasted like paper. Basically, the chef opened some Gordon Ramsey book and decided to give it a try without tasting the food. rather horrid experience, absense of wine list is also rather weird (they call themselves a gastropub!). Friendly service, but it is sad that those who serve that food think of Neath people as of idiots, who never had a good meal.
