The Nettle Inn

I happened upon this pub en route to Ashover. It looked most charming from the outside, and the interior was welcoming with a logfire crackling away on a cold early spring day. I had a good pint of Farmers' Bitter and ordered a ribeye steak sandwich. There was a list of suppliers on the wall, and noticed that it credited a local butcher, baker, and Buxton cheese amongst its suppliers. The meal was seven pounds, it was delicious, and came with home-made chutney, caramelised onions, and a salad garnish. The barman even came out into the carpark to tell me that my food was almost ready! I had returned to my car to attend to my dogs - he even invited me to bring them into the pub (I declined, as food was being served). The meal was ready within 15 minutes, despite the pub being busy with diners. The barman had warned me that there might be a delay, as they had a lot of orders in the kitchen at once (I arrived at peak time) Highly recommended - i have read negative reviews on another site, but cannot recognise the pub as being the same one?
