King william-absolutely superb!!!
We went here after some friends had mentioned it and we certainly was not dissapointed!! Superb menu, superb ales and really friendly staff.Even though we live quite a distance away this will now become our new local pub and restaurant. My husband had mussels in white wine to start and we both had a mixed grill with everything on it cooked to perfection, and with sausage like nothing we had tasted before. We finished with a delicious dark chocolate and coconut cheesecake which was to die for.A truly enjoyable evening and would highly recomend. We cannot wait to go back.

King Billy Great food
  10 / 10
This hostelery has some great food on the menu, The owners are just what you need in a pub, nothing seems too much trouble. The first time we visited we were made most welcome, since then we have been with a party of friends and again everyone was made welcome. The place is alway clean and tidy.

Superb Food, service and atmosphere
  10 / 10
I have eaten at The King William on several occasions since it re-opened its doors in November 2008 and wouldnt wish to eat out anywhere else. The menu is excellent offering a great variety of dishes and some mouth watering specials, they also cater for children with "real" food. The bar offers many cask ales which my husband loves and a very well stocked wine cellar. The atmosphere is great and the landlady always makes the effort to give you a personal welcome, add this to the top class service and beautiful country setting and you will see why I keep going back.
