Curry Mahal Tandoori

Great food at half price this is the best curry house in Dagenham and their mint sauce is fantastic. Decor not up to much but service is very good and friendly.

I have no hesitation in fully recommending this place if you like good currys.

Food was definately the focus, and second the old school style of customer service & charm - especially the owner.

It's not modern, doesn't seem to care about the decor very much - in fact I would say it's stuck in a 70's/80's time warp! ...BUT, thats exactly why I gave it 10 out of 10! Last time I spoke to the owner he was thinking about getting a answer machine for the telephone - be prepared is all I'm saying, but the old saying about not judging a book by its cover comes to mind.

I discovered this place a few months ago accidently and since then I've visited a part of London I never used to even stop in for directions - now I've lost count how many times I've been. Hope you give it a try at least once :)
