This is a good pub. I've developed the poor attitude that the fewer people that know, the better! It really is tucked away in Little London, just off the A340. This pub is brilliant if you want a nice drink, without blazing music. Friendly throughout with a landlord who knows his stuff. To use a cliche.

Excellent beer & great company

The Plough in Little London has been my "local" for almost 25 years.
The real-ales are always in tip-top condition and as well as the handpumps on the bar, there are normally at least a couple of ales served straight from the barrel.
They also sereve Thatchers Cider which slips down a whole load easier than some of the more commercial brands and a couple of lagers (Becks and Stella).
This is a proper "boozer" where people meet to talk and drink beer.
No poncey food or gaming machines.
you'll also find the prices agreeable, normally 30 to 40p cheaper than any other local in the area.
