The Balti house is a very popular local restaurant.
There is a constant friendly atmosphere as soon as you walk in the servers behind the counter smile and greet you. The food is brilliant quality and is surprisingly dirt cheap. An added bonus is that you can bring your own drinks and there are thousands of local shops to buy coke, beer etc.
My boyfriend is highly allergic to nuts and the menu explains clearly if it contains them, by the end of the night you feel happy, full and pleased with the night.

The Bombay Express Balti House in Albert Road is a local Southsea institution! The food is cheap [from just over £5!], tasty and you can order any strength! The big bonus of the place is that you can take your own drinks and there is an off licence next door!

It gets really busy on weekend evenings so book early!

It helps to learn the Waitors names as they are so rushed off their feet that you have to call them for service!
