A concert had been announced and they are the closest hotel / guest house. (call 27/07/08 - date required 29/08/09)
The lady on the phone said she didn't even have a diary for then and knew about the concert. She stated she had NO bookigs yet for that night
Cost would be £50 per person per night, with a MINIMUM OF 2 NIGHTS (£400).
Looking elsewhere they advertise £30 PER ROOM per night (not £200)
I asked if she had ever insisted on a 2 night booking and she had never done that, but as the concert had been announced she is now.
To sum up a money grabbing opportunist and not a good business person, polite but left a bad taste in the mouth.
Just goes to show what this individual is really like.
