have tried this pub a few years ago and they did at one time sell good food..tried it today and i wouldn't go back there again service was good but everything that came out had been microwaved. My wife had the fish pie which came unevenly heated and hadn't seen the inside of an oven certainly not on the day we went and i had the malaysian chicken curry which contained very dubious diced chicken which if i had to guess was flown exclusively from thialand last year. This was followed up with apple pie and custard...can't go wrong eh....oh yes you can pastry has a very unique habit of going soggy in a microwave. I won't bother commenting on my young daughters meal just wouldn't recommend it. Sorry white swan but i won't be coming back.

I recently took my car to Bumper to Bumper in Musselburgh for a full service and was shocked when I went to pick it up and received a bill for more than twice what I expected to pay. They had carried out work on the car that did not need to be done (the car had been serviced a year before so, for example, it did not need new air filters). When my partner and I queried the bill they merely shrugged their shoulders but had no real explanation for why they had done the work. We were very disatisfied and felt that the garage was trying to pull a 'fast one' on us. We won't go back again.

I joined this club in 2009 after previously being a member at other clubs.

As soon as I joined I was amazed at the buzz within the club and the fact there is always someone to play against (even in the winter!)

The league tennis is good for the more competitive and the no. of social events and tennis activities in general is second to none.

I've been practicing at Bikram City for a few years, as well as other yoga studios in East London. If I can find the time then Bikram City is always my first choice, mainly for the feeling I've had a really good yoga session but also have put more effort than I would at the gym. As other people have noted, the changing rooms can get a bit crowded between busy classes, but most of the other yoga studios I practice at have either one communal shower or no showers at all and they charge just one or two pounds less than Bikram City. I think although it is a bit more expensive, with the heat and the overall experience Bikram is better value than other yoga studios. I guess we just have to accept that yoga studios in London in general are more expensive than elsewhere but so is everything else!

I was worried by a few rather negative reviews that I had been set up for a fall, however much to my pleasure, my fears that the negative views were left by morons was confounded.
I'm picky and a food snob, but I very much enjoyed our food.Real pizza in London, who would have thought possible!
Fresh, light, crispy, as it should be. Not the stodgy doughy factory pizza most offer.Good food, speedy delivery, great value for money, polite people.
Would most certainly order again.
Definitely recommended.
Meals really are cooked to order no pinging here. Menu is frequently changed and great quality at good prices. Vegetables are perfection. I travel from Cannock every Friday for good food and good beer and great hosting by Andrea and Chris who is a super chef. Try the Stilton Chicken you won't find better and you won't be ripped off. If you are a fish fan the cod in white wine is a must with real chips or potatoes it's your choice. And if it's a Pizza you want try one of Chris's specials you'll never go to Pizza Hut again. The Shoulder of Mutton is a small country pub that is a bit difficult to find but well worth the effort

We booked a table at ferrari's on saturday 6th of march for 8.30 as we walked in it was like being in a buliders cafe very poor decor does not look like it was seen a lick of paint in 10yrs ! A lady asked if she take our coats we handed them over while i got some drinks from the bar my wife went to the toilet to find her coat hung up out side the toilet door and was trappped in the door ! We were spoken to by the manger or owner who was very passionate about the food

We ordered and was shown to our table and handed a menu that has been knocked up on a pc and run though a laminate machine im sure my 13 yr old son could have done a better job we ordered our starter and main and a bottle of wine

the wine came out very quick two packs of bread stick slapped on the table

the starters took around half an hour to arrive and came out wrong but we carried on

around 10pm our main course arrived and i told the waiter that i wasnt happy and he took the news very bad and did not deal with it very well

I would not go back to ferrari's if you paid me

Touchwood is a extremely popular shopping centre. It is situated in solihull town centre. It is very modern, the decor is really pleasing to the eye, it has a vast amount of shops and restaurants. Shops include: Superdrug, H&M, Jane Norman, Top shop/man, Republic, Clintons, Bear factory, Sports direct,Claires accesories, the tie rack. All the main shops are on the ground floor as well as Druckers, Greggs and a few other eateries. Upper level is mainly retaurants e.g. Pizza hut, harry ramsays fish and chips, and many more. Also their is the Cinema on the upper floor as well...all in all...SHOP TIL U DROP, WITH EVERYTHING UNDER ONE ROOF :)

Very expensive, when you can get better value, in the local pubs near by.Most of the staff here are quite young although, i dont know him personally the rather large lad who works here is always very pleasant and helpful.
Situated in the old village part of Allestree, you are hoping to enjoy a traditional welcoming local pub when you go into the Red Cow.
What you actually get is a scruffy pub, with patrons to match. The landlord, recognisable by his greasy unkempt looks doubles up as the microwave chef and with as much personality a roadside corpse, he seemlessly moves between kitchen, bar and smoking section outside the back door. The food is cheap and nasty and unless cost is the determining factor I would stay well away. I live round the corner and have foolishly returned on more than one occassion through convenience and been equally dissapointed each time.

This curry house is the best I have experienced in Bath! The service is SO great, the guys in there are so friendly and polite, and the food!! OMG the food is amazing!! I thoroughly recommend the Chicken Tikka Masala, and the onion bahjis, and the sag panaar... everything is top notch! AND its very reasonably priced.
I recommend booking on a friday of saturday night as it can get really busy. I hope you enjoy it!

I am a nhs patient who goes every 6 months.I get seen by an indian male dentist here... They do not always clean my teeth, and when they are cleaned i usually end up getting choaked as the assistant cannot use the appliance properly (to get rid of the water guzzling around my mouth) because of this i do not get a thorough clean and polish. Straight away i am told to 'sign the form' (so they get paid) but i hope someone from dhss reads this, as this is how we get treated now the dentists have gone private

Have known people who have attended this clinic when i used to work as a PROFESSIONAL here. I have heard about peoples experiences in dealing with going to this clinic; alot of people say they dont get listerned to regarding their care plan, its all about being told whats best for them. People have been discharged and had to be re instated through their GP have told me, if they hadnt been discharged in the first place and all the stress/distress that caused the individual, he/she wouldnt have got ill again and needed support that, they rightly should have still got but, was forced to leave. Some have said they feel suicidal when told they are to be discharged but, the doctors are more bothered about getting rid of the old and in with the new patients;doctors really are negligent, as to why people attended in the FIRST place! Working in this profession i have known alot of staff leave this clinic as things have really changed here. New/temporary doctors and students are their as it is a 'teaching clinic' but, they need stability for the clients who attend. Social service i was told by one client 'is a waste of time' they havent got a 'clue' they are not professionaly trained to deal with people with a mental illness. Two social service staff started as temps then ended up having a full time job, what experience did they have? the answer is none they have it now, by being given the chance to work with these mentally ill people. The previous Social service manager wore really low cut tops, short skirts flirted with the male clients it really was disgusting to see. Less said about the current Social Service manager the better. Sadly NHS patients who have mental illness, has to suffer this sort of unprofessional treatment unless, they can afford 'private' health care.

Have been to this cafe several times. I usually have a hearty full english breakfast which is nice. Everything as far as food and drink goes is nice but not great value for money.(Usually one sausage, is considered a sausage sandwich.) The owner who is a elderly woman, does put people off going in their, as she is quite rude and arrogant. People who only pop in for a cuppa are usually refused when the local builders are about to go in for their dinner... its all about bums on seats for those spending the most money!!

I wouldnt recomend this place to any loving and caring parent as per our experience. The staff would still try and give you a good service but the management of the nursery is appaling. They would not honour their word or even the contract that you sign with them. If due to any reason you still end up at this nursry, my sugestion would be as a very least get everything in writing from them - DO NOT take their word for anything coz it wont be kept!

The Park Inn is a great Community Pub that offers a variety of entertainment, good food, and a very friendly atmosphere, you can catch karaoke on the first Sat of each month, quiz nights on thurs. The Pub is an endangered social venue that needs more support from it's community before it's sold off to some unknow other type of business. Great for people who access Crompton Moors for any reason,( ie; cyclist, dog walkers, ramblers, sight seeres, anyone who might be passing as well as the locals) so come on, pop in for a bite and a pint you'll be made to feel very welcome.

If you want the absolute best for your dog then look no further! This was a real great treat for my little Poodle/Bichon cross. I couldn't believe the transformation in her. She now walks the streets with great pride, with head held high! Her coat is so clean and soft, and not to mention the new stylish haircut! I was so pleased that I went and bought her a smart new collar and lead to complete the new look , well worth every penny.‎

We have given this "restaurant" a second chance as a year ago we went and spend a evening in this establisment. The second visit was worth than the first. We had a piza each and have found that if I would go to Tesco and by two piza the evening would be a lot better. The staffs were not trained to restauration level more like a cafe than a restaurant. Very disapointed, we left with intention of never return. It was very expensive for two 6" piza.

This place is great. It sits right by The Furzton Lake itself and has lovely views. The menu is really good as all its meals are two for the price of one!!! Bargain!
This includes meals such as mixed grills and steaks which we always have and they are always really tasty. It can get very busy but it is worth the wait. Even though the staff are running around a lot they are very friendly and helpful. The only small point I would make is they should pay a bit more attention to the water feature outside as it doesn't look very inviting but once you get in you won't be disappointed.

We stayed at the Abbey Lodge Hotel in Shipley recently. It wasn't the first time we'd stayed there but I have to say this time we absolutely loved it! Previously it'd been a convenient place for us to stay as a base when visiting relatives in the area. It used to be a very adequate and functional B&B, reasonably priced but nothing to write home about! When I rang to book this stay, I spoke to the owner, who remembered me from previous stays (nice touch!) and he told me they'd had a "bit of a re-furb" - well, that really was an understatement! The place had been completely re-modelled and re-vamped and now resembled more of a "boutique hotel" - a very pleasant surprise indeed!... I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone and we will stay there again if we're in the area!‎

I sometimes question the background of people who write some of these reviews - often ignoring any positives in order to spread negative vibes about something. What a shame and very sad for them I guess.
I've not been able to get back to the City Bikram for 2 months now due to a serious injury and I miss it so much.

I agree that the space is tight but you never know the background to these things. I run my own business and when we started out I had to rent a smaller space and was tied into a long lease to get a decent rental rate. As the business grew, we struggled to expand until eventually we got to the end of the lease and were able to move, but it restricts you so much. I don't know the owners but maybe they have the same problem. All I do know is that I miss the sessions and the feeling of complete exhaustion at the end but I'll get back to it eventually. The teachers are also great and it's their experience and teaching that you are paying most for - I love Mark and Kate's classes especially.
The staff at City are friendly, as they are at the other 2 studios in Kentish Town and Kilburn. It's a tight space and must be difficult for them too but they keep a smile and that matters.
So, why don't people describe the whole experience and allow others to make an informed judgment, instead of just slandering something by concentrating on the negative.

Having just opened up this week as the new replacement from the Channel Heights restaurant that we have been going to for over 20 years we would like to share some feedback of today's lunchtime experience at the new location.
The food was good and hot but the service could have been better with more attention to detail ie removing of cutlery etc.
The decor of the new surroundings leaves a lot to be desired and urgently needs some displays, art work on the walls and above all plants to create an ambiance.
Whilst we understand it is a classroom ,so was the old Channel Heights restaurant, but to have a white board and class tables visible and not covered up is lacking basic preperation, which paying customers view.
Dividing partitions are a good idea to seperate the bar area when we first go in and the bar area/sitting area could be just as you go in, thus moving the restaurant part over towards the windows more and where the sitting area is presently by the wines cabinet.
We have left these and other comments with the supervisor trainees today and hope that for your sakes they will be acted on,as it has lots of potential and a good future and we hope that our next visit next month for dinner will be a much better experience and hopefully not our last as 20 years of being customers speaks for itself.
We very much look forward to hearing from you and wish you all well in the new venture.
With Best wishes,
Mr and Mrs Warner

I went to stay in the lovely Montacute village, in somerset and stayed in a perfect hotel next to a beautiful church and surroundings. we look at quite a few hotel to stay at but this one stood out from the rest. I was greeted by the new owners with a smile and a warm welcome, i could just tell by this that my stay was going be pleasent. The place had been completly refubished in January this year. The food was AMAZING and the service second to none i would highly recommend anyone to visit

Just eaten in the worst place I have ever had the misfortune to visit. Ridgeways in Eastbourne - Mead Street. I think Raymond and Bernard basically shop at iceland and serve it. outrageous. Incensed me enough to register to here to tell everyone. best it is NOT. It is one of the only restaurants in an area with a captive audience - older people being exploited by these people.
The food was deepfried to within an inch of its life or baked (badly) from frozen. Tasteless, sloppy and appallingly cheap food overpriced. Deserts at 5 pounds a pop (not priced on their twee little blackboard). It cost £74 for 3 people and next time I'll go straight to Iceland myself. I suggest never wasting your time or money on this nasty little rip off venture.

We had the misfortune of visiting this pub recently. It was a very cold Tuesday evening in February around 8pm. Understandably, the restaurant was very quiet. I would guess that there are about 15 tables in the dining room, two of which were occupied. My wife and I decided to sit at a table set for four which was located next to the fire. As we were getting comfortable a nervous waitress approached us with a very worried look on her face and asked: Would you mind moving to a table that is set for two? The owner does not like couples sitting at a table set for four!
I mentioned that as the restaurant was just about empty and that at this time it was unlikely that they would receive any more customers and that she check with the owner and perhaps make an exception. Off went the waitress with a very worried look on her face. About a minute later a very rude and angry lady asked us to move to another table set for two. I asked if we could stay where we were, close to the fire. Her response: No, I dont want to have to explain to everyone else why I have made an exception.
At this point I said that my wife and I would take our business elsewhere. I think the above explains the empty restaurant and the very nervous staff. The food might be good but the atmosphere and customer service was atrocious.
Excellent food and service, very highly recommended. There is a wide choice in the menu to suit young and old alike. I must also point out that it's a very welcoming place, and my family and I have returned for a visit every once in a while.

Actually, we used to live near the Eighty Eight, and although we have since moved to Preston, we often find ourselves going back specifically to dine at this place, so that's got to count for something!

I used to frequent Mr Kebab's in my younger years after being out for a night on the town. I was in the mood for pizza tonight and thought I'd revisit - big mistake.

The fries were a disgusing dark brown colour. Probably frozen and meant for the oven. They tasted worse than they looked. The chicken pakora was just okay and the chicken and mushroom pizza which I'd recalled as being really tasty? Well, it wasn't. It has definitely not lived up to my expectations. It was not that cheap and pretty nasty. Perhaps I'd have to be drunk to appreciate this rubbish, I don't know. What I do know is that I won't be wasting money there again.

Goodbye Mr Chips? Goodbye Mr Kebab.

We went to the oldschoolhouse on friday 19th febuary and we were very impressed indeed, we walked in to a very warm reception and greeted with a smile. We were sat at a table in the lounge area and were asked if we would like a drink before being given the menu's.

The menu's were very impressive with an extensive a la carte menu and a table d'hote menu very reasonable priced at £19.75 for 3 courses. We were then informed of the specials for the evening and was also told that there was 30% off our total food bill.

Once we had ordered our food we were taken through into the restaurant by one of the waitresses and sat at our table which was very nice in a window.

Our starters came within a few minutes of being at the table which i have to say were very very good. In due course we were served our main course and dessert which again were excellent.

We then we asked if we would like coffee and to go back through to the lounge area to relax, we took the waitress up on the offer and decided to take a liquer floater coffee back through in the lounge.

This was the first time me and my partner had been to the restaurant and i am sure it will not be the last after the excellent experience that we had on the evening, i would recommend the restaurant to anybody looking to go out for beautiful meal and relaxing evening.

This Nursery would of got 10/10 if it had parking. The Nursery is well situated in the middle of Penrith. The staff are brilliant and have all been at the nursery for years, which tells you something. Outside is a lovely enclosed play area with ample play equipment. This is a lovely pre-school which prepares them well for 'big school'.

I would not recommend this pub for a meal. the four of us waited 40 minutes for a starter of garlic mushrooms. This was a thick stewlike sauce with tought mushrooms in it and was returned uneaten. We then waited for our main courses. One arrived and we were told the other three would be 5 minutes!! The roast beef was good, but the chicken was overcooked and dry as well as tasteless, likewise the haddock mornay and fried haddock. We then ordered sweets, for 2 of us this was cheesecake, we waited 30 minutes for this when it arrived it was frozen solid, no way could we eat it. We then left this uncomfortable and cold place never to return.Very disappointing the one star is for the friendly welcome we had.

I've now dined at The Greyhound three times, and I'm afraid it wasn't a case of third time lucky! First experience was fantastic, all of us had a great time, but the last two experiences have left a lot to be desired!
First impressions are great, the menu has lots of classics and favourites, so there is something for everyone. It's when you actually come to eat that everything just seems to "slide". I have a feeling that they might over book, as the last two occasions we have waited an excesive amount of time for our food and have had to enquire throughout the evening where our food actually is.
It's all well and good sending the teenage members of staff over to apologise, but what can they actually do about it? It is at this point you want the manager to come over and explain what the problem actually is. When you can finally get an answer out of the manager, we found him to be offhand and really not that bothered, which as a paying customer I find completely unacceptable, it is our prerogative to complain as a paying customer, and not expect "attitude" back when doing so!
I'll leave it to you to decide if you want "attitude" with your meals!

Turned up at 11.30, as this is the opening time quoted on their web site. No sign of life at 11.40. Phoned the pub from outside. The land lady opened the inner door, unlocked the porch and went back in. NOT WELCOMING AT ALL. Our party was of 11 so you would have thought they could use that sort of trade. The land lady continued to be less than warm. The food was good. We had no problems there. When the bill came we were over charged by about 10% (by which I mean it was not just and odd coffee added on). Again mistakes happen. My problem was the way the landlady dealt with it. There was no apology, not even a recognition that they had made a mistake!!!
We will not go back.

Been here twice now and both were experiences to forget. This place looks amazing, the setting makes you look forward to enjoying a nice meal but both times were a terrible let down. The portions were undersized, the food was barely warm and not particularly nice. The service was slow & and the staff gave the general impression that they were stressed and confused. The fake flower vase on the table looked like it had not been cleaned in quite a few years & all in all I would not ever waste my money visiting this place again. Such a shame considering how beautiful it looks on first appearance.

We stayed at the Stewart Hotel for the 3-nights for 2009 Hogmanay. It was great. The food was excellent and the breakfast was superb in quality and quantity. They served 3 different types of bacon, kepper etc. The entertainment was great especially the Scottish Irish Dance Night. The staff were incredible. The service I want to say can be compared was next to none. The hotel was full and everybody enjoyed the holiday. We decided to make it our family reunion and we have already book for 2010 Christmass since we made our New Year this time. We like to recommend this hotel to anybody and feel this is a place where we can go year after year.
I like to give 10/10 to this wonderful hotel and its staff.

I TOOK MY GIRLFRIEND HERE FOR VALENTINES DAY, AND WISHED I HADN'T.
THE PLACE WAS FREEZING COLD, JUST 2 FIRES WERE LITE, THE RADIATORS WERE JUST WARM, WE HAD TO KEEP OUR COATS ON.
WE ORDERED OR FOOD ( WHICH WAS A FIXED MENU) AND IT TOOK 45MINS FOR THE STARTER TO ARRIVE, THEN ANOTHER 30MINS FOR THE MAINS.
THE FOOD WAS VERY AVERAGE, NOTHING FANTASTIC, QUITE TASTLESS IN PLACES.

THE SERVICE WAS CRAP!
IT WAS SEAMED AS IF IT WAS RUN BY STUDENTS, THE OWNER WAS NOT SEEN BY US AT ALL.
IT WAS VERY EXPENSIVE £60.00 FOR TWO PEOPLE, I EXPECTED SOMETHING BETTER FOR MY MONEY!
IF YOU WANT MY ADVICE ---- DONT BOTHER!

Our first visit last night to this restaurant. The welcome could not have been warmer, the food was excellent and not over-priced, they dealt with our birthday cake with efficiency and good humour and were still smiling when we left long after anyone else. We shall come again and bring friends.
