Regret that I was recommended to try the Riverside. Very disappointed with the service although less than 10 people in there we waited 40 minutes for a starter. The food left a lot to be desired. How can you have a asparagus and mushroom salad with 4 skinny bits of mushroom hidden under a pile of greasy lettuce. After that the main course went downhill. Value for money appalling. Did it spoil our anniversary- you bet it did. If they get someone who can cook it might work-if not the Riverside will probably go down the river.
