on the 10 november I celebrated my birthday at the white hart it was excellent. when we arived we were greeted as we entered, this made me feel welcome, I noticed they brewed their own beer so that was me sorted it was fantastic. we sat down to study the large menu, we came to a decission and I went to order, the man behind the bar advised us to have chips with our welsh black beef steak as they were real not frozen (good advice as they were fab) we only had a short wait and we semed to have anough food for an army and all freshly cooked infront off us in the open plan kitchen, the food was so good we ate it all and had a small rest before our pudding. great food great beer great atmosphere great welcom from the staff I will be back

I was on my way to Tenby and on my travels I spoted a brown tourist signe to The White Hart Thatched Inn and Brewery in the village of Llanddarog as I arrived the carpark was prety full at the front so I had to park my car in the rear carpark . As I enterd this thatched pub and restaurant dateing back some 600 years I felt I was steping back in time with its hevily carved furniture,medeval sute of armour and solid oak beams .I went to the bar were I was greated by a lovely young lady asking what id like to drink and she told me about the ales they brew on the premises so naturaly I tried one Cwrw Blasus which means Tasty Ale thats what I was told It was such a lovely pint and went down a real treat .next on the agenda was food so looking through the large and exiteing menu and also the specials board I noticed a pie caled a Beef Double which is cauliflower chese on one side and a beef pie on the other side , well worth a visit just for the pie so if your any were near this pub its well worth calling they have a web site www.thebestpubinwales.co.uk take a look
