i am shocked that such a lovely pub is not doing so well... location good, size of pub great, food was amazing before all the new managers arrived, used to be so lively and a fun place to be but now, not so much, same dj playing same old rubbish week in week out with the same old crappy quizes each week! but seems like someone likes him! new managers are ok bit gobby and will bar you for this sillyest of things, and if they dont like you, you prob wont be drinking there for long. we've been going there for years now and its just being run into the ground! the beer is awfull!!!! not sure what they are doing tho it but last time i was there i heard at least 5 complaints about the ail tasting and smelling funny and needless to say the managers got on the defensive mode and i know at least 2 of the people that complained have been barred now! one or two of the staff there are great but the rest are awfull! one in particular is the worst barman i have ever seen! not a clue what he was doing! and the food i had there recently was disgusting! do not get the gammon! i dont know what they did to it but seemed like they just bangged in a the fryers to cook it! awfull!!!

staff are absolutly useless, how hard is it to take an order... really!? slow service even when not busy, rude and stuck up!
food is awfull, cold and either undercooked or overcooked! no doubt frozen microwaved stuff which is far too overpriced!
im am amazed how people would go back to that place... gordan ramsey would have a field day there! definatley not goin again!
