A typical old town pub. Clean and tidy beer priced sensibly and a cheerful landlord. Great effort put in decorating internally at different times of the year,Valentines,Easter,Halloween,Christmas etc.Some of the staff could do with tidying their appearance & smiling.

A typical local pub, food is varied and cooked by the landlord at a reasonable price. The beer and wine is expensive compared to other local pubs,and the real ale not at its best. Rowdy at the weekends with the younger element taking over,a smile from some of the staff would go along way.

As most Businesses it started off well,still offering a self service roast meal (£3.59)week days,unfortunately the Management have taken their eye off the ball,which has impacted the service the kitchen staff are not supervised meat/vegetables not ready until there finished,consequently dissatisfied customers telling others. Management don't stay upstairs review what's going on its your salary & bonuses at stake.
