Copacabana Bar and Grill in Colchester is a fab Brazilian restaurant with a unique concept in Essex. There's no menu at Copacabana. Instead a series of gauchos bring long skewers of beef, chicken, pork, lamb and ribs which have been basted with traditional marinades then gently roasted over a pit of glowing coals. For one single price, the meats keep coming until you are completely satisfied, a service called â??rodizio' in Brazil. You also help yourself to the fabulous hot and cold buffet for accompaniments to the meats and diners are surprised at how very comprehensive the buffets are. The wine list is affordable and well chosen with quite a heavy representation from the new world vineyards. The wait-staff and management at Copacabana are widely known to be friendly, helpful and dedicated to proper customer service, which makes every meal a pleasure.
