Wilson's (Aberdare)

Very good initial response to e-mail enquiry, reassuring me how much emphasis they placed on looking after their customers. Ended up having p/x offer accepted for a car on their forecourt after travelling 70 miles to test drive. As part of agreement they committed to giving me 12 months MOT and fixing a fault with the built-in sat nav system which was frozen. Then received e-mail a few days later advising fault could not and would not be fixed and that there was 7 months MOT which was sufficient. I requested reasonable compensation for the fault on the sat nav and that they stuck to their agreement on the MOT. The sales rep therefore agreed to the 12 months MOT (again) and offered me 6 months tax as apology for the sat nav. However I then received an e-mail the following day that the Manager wished to refund my deposit and cancel the deal, without any further explanation. Had they sold the car to someone-else behind my back despite me paying a deposit perhaps? Very odd behaviour, completely unexplainable! Fortunately I took my business elsewhere, got the same model car in which all the features worked and got more money in p/x for my vehicle!! All fool me for trying to do a deal with them in the first place perhps?! In summary though, be very warey of this place indeed - they'll tell you how much their customers matter to them, but then seem to do everything they can to do you over!! I will certainly never go back!
